I’m designing a little picture featuring my favorite spring blooms made with a variety of embroidery stitches.
I weeded out some old denim when I was doing my spring cleaning. It makes the perfect indigo backdrop for my growing garden. I’m slowly making progress. I sew in fits and starts. I rip out stitches that I’ve made, only to resew them. I halt. I hesitate. I go beyond the confines of lines I’ve already delineated. Somehow, little by little, this project is moving ahead just like spring is.
